City Loud have welcomed some exceptional guests to Turnmills over the past 2 years. With World Class DJs like Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclar and Sandy Rivera joining resident CJ MACKINTOSH, it was simply a matter of time before all-round global icon DAVID MORALES would take his turn at London’s hottest House party. The date for your diaries is SATURDAY 17TH APRIL and to make this evening even more special, David will be spinning an extended 5 Hour set in the Main Room.

David Morales is of course a Grammy Award winning DJ, remixer, producer and co-owner of
Def Mix Productions. He was nominated in 1996 for his remix of Mariah Carey’s ‘Fantasy’ and
was again nominated the following year for ‘Best Remixer’ having collaborated with Mariah for the second time. In 1998 Morales finally received his much-deserved Grammy Award, this time for ‘Remixer of The Year’. Morales has also worked with the likes of Seal, Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, Jamiroquai, Eric Clapton, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, and Toni Braxton, whilst remixing dance music pals like Basement Jaxx, Photek, Satoshi Tomiie, and Sasha.

Morales has also achieved chart success in his own right with the worldwide smash ‘Needin’ U’, which stormed to No.1 in the US Billboard chart in 1997. Then remixed for 2001 (with Dance Diva Juliet Roberts), the track topped our own UK Charts and became a summer anthem all over again! Morales was also the official consultant for the high profile dance weekly show ‘The Grind’ in the early days of MTV (he still works for MTV Europe now) and he fronts his own weekly show on Galaxy Radio, which is syndicated around the world.

Last year David celebrated 15 years of Def Mix with a huge worldwide tour. Def Mix is easily one of the world’s most successful dance music production companies, plus the management branch of the company looks after the careers of Frankie Knuckles, Satoshi Tomiie, Hector Romero and Bobby D’ Ambrosio. Look out for a hot new album from Morales later this summer, but in the meantime make sure you join David at City Loud in April for his extra special gig and this rare opportunity to catch one of house music’s true legends in London.

Having played an incredible midnight set at February’s party, City Loud’s very own CJ MACKINTOSH joins Morales in the Main Room for this big night of house, with support from RICHARD M – a DJ who came into his own at February’s bash with a storming 3 Hour soulful set to round off the night in style. Meanwhile Turnmills’ first lady of House, LOTTIE will be back to play a long set of her own in Room 2 with 4 Hours of acid-laced beats and funk. Plus TIM WESBTER, famed for his infamous Indulge parties will offer some backroom support, together with ADAM K who won the recent City Loud DJ Competition.
