House music... the sound of a million dancefloors around the globe. London… the party capital of the world. The two go hand in hand, just like City Loud and CJ Mackintosh, our guiding light. Sexy, stylish, cosmopolitan, ahead of its time… City Loud is to house music what CJ Mackintosh is to London.
Cool, fresh, fashionable, in your face. Get with the program. For one night only, we bring you the DJs
that have sweated blood and tears for the good of the scene. Patrons of London. DJs who play from the heart and wear their music on their record sleeve. Step forward Joey Negro and Jazzy M. Veteran house heads, lord’s of the dance. They join CJ for a main room education, alongside Birthday boy Brad 212 Finlay. DJs about town Raymundo Rodriguez and Richard M supply the soulful funk next door,
with former Hacienda resident and acid-house pioneer Graeme Park making his City Loud debut.

When it comes to house music, we've got it sewn up here at City Loud. One month you might have the big players from back in the day like David Morales or Tony Humphries, or another month you might have Le Francais bods like Bob Sinclar and DJ Gregory working the 1's and 2's. Whatever the theme, whatever the groove, one thing's for sure. when it comes to quality, City Loud remains at the very top, head and shoulders above the rest. Every month, we try and bring you a line-up that reflects not only the new and the cool, but a line-up that pays homage to those who have made the scene what it is today and to those who have carried on doing what they love best - playing tunes to make people smile and dance -
even after all these years.

To our dearest City Loud faithful. this one's for you.

Sit back, relax and take a deep breath, because we're about to take you on a journey into the minds of London's finest. Hold tight, as we give you City Loud: Very London. Leading the way is our brilliant and super-funky resident CJ Mackintosh. CJ has seen it, done it and not only bought the t-shirt. but he's bought 300 of the buggers and stamped his musical seal of approval all over them!! This man is a giant. A legend even? Have you read his music review column in M8 Magazine?? Honestly you should. this guy is also funny as f**k!! Where were we? Oh yeah, London! Joining CJ in the main this month will be two veterans of the scene. First up is Joey Negro. A man who has more aliases than a secret agent, so god only knows how many dodgy passports he must have?! Dave Lee, Jakarta, Razen Maize. the list is endless!! He's dominated the charts for years and really is one of the best DJs to have ever graced the hallowed decks at Turnmills. Special guest No.2 is Jazzy M, the former Ministry of Sound resident for 7 years and one of the most influential DJs London has ever seen. The lads will be backed up on the night by City Loud's bi-monthly resident Brad 212 Finlay, who has more reason to celebrate than most, cos it's his birthday!!
Make sure you get down early to buy the man a drink. Oh, and while you're at it, I'll have a JD & Coke!!

So that's the main room taken care of, but what about T2? Well, for starters we have Graeme Park, the former Hacienda resident and acid-house pioneer. Astonishingly Graeme will be making his City Loud debut next Saturday. Yes, I know we should've booked him sooner, but better late than never as the old saying goes. Also on this month's backroom billing is Raymondo Rodriquez; another City Loud debutant, but another DJ who really is on fire at the moment and who you'll be really impressed with. He's also got one of the best names ever, which is great in itself!! Last but by no means least, is Richard M. Well, what can we say about this guy? How many times this year has Richard kept us dancing in the backroom till stupid O'clock in the morning? Top boy and a wicked DJ. Did you know he has soulful house running through his brains?
No, seriously!

So there you have it. Look out for more from us next week. In the meantime, make sure you get your advanced tickets in early before they all go. Have a great week(end) and we'll see y'all soon.

Lots of Love
City Loud x
