This
months Defected monthly knees up is celebrating
just that.
Junior Jack arguably is the finest house
music talent of the moment.
We will be celebrating the street release
of his very own artist album 'Trust It'.
Watch out for the give aways, they'll be
available to the first 100 through the door.
One of dance music's hottest, enigmatic
and most chameleon-like producers, Junior
Jack, unleashes one of this year's biggest
debuts with his "Trust It" artist album
on Defected. It's a massive funky, electro-tinged
house music debut album built on some of
the wildest basslines around. This is a
must have for your collection.
 |
Many magazines that have featured him on
their front covers including DJ, I-DJ and
M8.
They've confirmed his now snowballing status.
He is widely tipped for continued titanic
success this year. His second single Da
Hype is following in the same footsteps
of
last year's E-Samba to become one of the
biggest tracks of this year already.
Da Hype features the vocal talents of our
80's mega hero Robert Smith of The Cure
fame.
You never know Mr Smith may turn up and
shock us all with his notorious back combed
hair style and retro moves!.
Of course Junior Jack will be joined by
his trusted sidekick and equally talented
Kid Crème.
Kid Crème is well known for his 'Austin's
Groove' track on Subliminal, and subsequently
his
classic mix of Shakedown's 'At Night'. He's
also enjoyed the success of the recent floor
filler 'Hypnotising', which topped the club
charts.
That act would be difficult to follow but
we are in good hands as an equally notorious
DJ takes the helm of the Ministry DJ booth.
Alan Thompson - one of Defected's favourite
residents.
He is known for his definitive sound and
experience that spans years cutting his
teeth
at the legendary Trade parties.
As if this wasn't enough support for the
above comes in the form of Paul Farris who
will be taking charge of the bar, a place
where he is very much at home. Paul has
had over 15 years experience in this industry
and has become a well-respected DJ who always
plays the freshest tunes.
Following on from Farris is Copyright -
they are the original deal! For the last
4 years this UK based production outfit
has been signed to Soulfuric. They have
been carving out a solid reputation as one
of the most up and coming production teams
on the soulful house music scene. Watch
out for these guys they are definitely ones
to watch this year as tipped by I-DJ magazine.
If you ever wondered who was at the top
of the pile at Defected then look no further.
This is the person responsible to the fierce
tunes you hear from the record label every
year. Simon Dunmore as well as being one
of the industries most respected A & R's
is also an accomplished DJ who will start
off your evening with skills that they has
homed over many years playing on the scene.
This is a serious night with serious music
for people who know where to find the perfect
Saturday night soundtrack.
Visit www.defected.co.uk/ and post your
thoughts on our DJ's, new releases and events.
We are dying to hear from you. Love all
the heads at Defected.
