Now in its 6th year, Bedrock Records has
pursued a commitment to both established
and underground artists alike since emerging
in 1999. Having helped develop the careers
of Chris Fortier, Jimmy Van M, Steve Porter,
Randall Jones, Tom Mangan, Brancaccio &
Aisher and Luke Chable to name a view, Bedrock
Records and the sister breaks imprint have
become amongst the most influential in dance
music.
Bedrock's new 'OS' Series takes its commitment
to the underground to the next level. Following
the established 'Bedrock, Compiled & Mixed'
series and it's reflected series on the
Breaks label, the Original Series looks
to the future of dance and some of the best
up and coming talent in the world today.
OS.0_1 sees Desyn Masiello take hold of
the series and forge a path amongst the
best underground and established talent
across record label, artists and remixers
throughout the world. With a style that
is consistently pushing at the forefront
of modern music, he has already garnered
attention from Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg
and Danny Howells, all nominating him in
DJ Magazine's recent Top100 poll as one
to watch.
Having taken 2 labels, Alternative Route
Recordings and Sex on Wax to the front of
dance music over the last couple of years,
Desyn's place as one of the best selectors
of music has truly cemented itself, a skill
he brings to his DJ'ing with outstanding
effect. Drawing heavily on the more obscure,
underground sounds of Germany, France as
well as the US, UK and Far East, it's clear
to see why Desyn Masiello has
confirmed his position as one of the most
technically gifted and party orientated
DJ's around,
often reediting and tweaking tracks within
the set to bring tracks from outside the
usual dance gamete under his musical umbrella.
The Original Series has already fixed the
positions of the first 3 DJ's to bring their
unique sounds to the fold. Some of the best
underground talent in the world will come
together under the 'OS' banner to push their
unique vision of the forefront of underground
dance music. Combined with extensive international
tours, Desyn's fantastic foray in OS.0_1,
