February
14th - Valentine's Day. Celebrated as a lovers'
holiday. The giving of candy,
flowers, or other gifts between couples in love.
Tradition is about to change with the St Valentines
launch of LOVE @ EGG. As a gift to you, Nick House
Entertainment promises to embrace the whole spectrum
of house music. Whether you want it twisted, tribal,
dirty,
funky, broken or soulful - this night has it all!
LOVE’s vision is to create a monthly club night
which will recapture the community spirit and
atmosphere we all love but never seem to experience
anymore in London. LOVE has been meticulous in
it’s planning for its new venture. From months
of scouting for a fitting venue to play host to
the shenanigans, to searching the globe to source
some of the planets finest DJ’s - all at the cutting
edge of their profession!
After its low-key launch in summer 2003, Egg (Kings
Cross) has quietly been going about its business
playing host to some of London’s wildest and notorious
underground parties. After viewing its 3 glorious
floors, state of the art sound system, stunning
visuals and it’s heated garden the decision was
easy!
After discovering what is sure to be ‘the club
of 2004’, LOVE was determined to program a line-up
which would keep our new found community rocking
till the sun comes up! With this in mind, we welcome
French house legend – DJ Gregory and the UK’s
hottest up and coming producers / DJ’s Copyright
in the middle floor. In support, we also welcome
Roo, (regular at Serious @ The Cross / Dusted
@ Pacha) who will be keen to build up a swift
rapport with his new found friends as he kicks
off his monthly residency. The basement plays
host to carnival masters – Sancho Panza, synonymous
with some of London’s wildest parties, if you’ve
ever been to their soundsystem @ Carnival, you’ll
know exactly what we’re talking about! In the
Loft we’ve laid a special treat too! Fresh, independent
label Inspirit music will take over with the help
of The Beard & West of Centre whilst the adorable
Amma will be providing the angelic vocals.
Last but not least, music channel - Rapture TV
(SKY Digital 265) will be filming the night
for future broadcasts, so be sure to get your
glad rags on, and smile for the camera!!!
