Ho Ho Ho everyone and how the devil are ya? Feeling festive yet? No, ok well we’ll soon sort that one out for you then!! This month we’ll be hosting 2 Christmas Parties, so double the fun. Our first bash takes place at our London home – The Social Bar, this Friday night as we host our monthly shindig in the capital Vs Chibuku Shake Shake. The second Xmas bash takes place at The River Bar, Maidstone on Saturday 11th December for a very special Vs Stompaphunk soundclash featuring former RadioSlave hero Serge Santiago. Both parties are absolutely free to get in and both nights look set to be a lotta fun... we hope you can join us??

Saturday 11th December The River Bar (Maidstone) Bongo Vs Stompaphunk Xmas Party
The following Saturday night we host our infamous Christmas Party at The River Bar where we welcome debutant on these shores, but no stranger to the World’s DJ elite – Serge Santiago, former RadioSlave don. Serge played for us at Turnmills in September, and it’ll be a pleasure to have this hugely talented acid-house loving DJ/Producer down to play as we play host to a very special Vs Stompaphunk party (the night he’s resident at in Brighton). Having remixed the likes of Fischerspooner, X-Press 2, Benny Benassi, Tiga, Britney, Justin Timberlake, FC Kahuna, Bob Sinclar (as RadioSlave) and now Elton John (Are You Ready For Love), Aloud, Armand Van Helden, Syntax, Chikinki, Mula and Bent on his own, it’s no wonder that John Digweed, Tiga, Lottie and Ewan Pearson are four of his biggest fans!! And so will you be too, when you hear him play, believe!! Anil & Marcel offer support behind the decks, plus look out for Christmas giveaways on the night!!

 MONGO BONGO – NEWS UPDATE
New Nottingham residency?
We can exclusively reveal that we are currently in discussing with one London’s leading clubs - The Gallery (Turnmills), to start a new residency with them at The Bomb in Nottingham from February 2005. We’ll have more information on this over the next couple of weeks, but if all
goes to plan will be heading up there for the big launch party on Friday 4th February 2005,
and then either monthly or bi-monthly thereafter.

Mongo Bongo = No.1 Night in the South-East
Having dominated DJ Magazine listings pages for the past 18 months, we can finally lay claim to being their No.1 Night in the South-East!! Yep, having already scooped the exact same verdict from rivals Mixmag at the end of last year, it is our great pleasure to announce that our forthcoming Christmas Party at The River Bar on Saturday 11th December has been carefully selected as their No.1 night – get it there!! This adulation follows recent press coverage from
the likes of Timeout, Evening Standard and The Guardian, who have all made similar comments. Which is nice!!

Kiss FM
Having remixed Tall Paul’s new track ‘Got It’ to great acclaim (out on Duty Free Records later this month), our man Anil Chawla recently mixed an exclusive 30 minute set for Tall Paul’s Kiss FM show. Anil’s mix featured the remix he did for Paul, for his own tracks ‘Makes Me Feel’ and ‘Disco Stew’ – due for release early next year on Nic Fanciulli’s new Saved Records label. Anil and production partner Dale Anderson are currently working on the next follow up single. Fellow Mongo Bongo resident Marcel Kane is also set to take the plunge into the studio next year, as are Mongo Bongo promoters Stix & Kelly… Top of the Pops here we come!!

Coming early 2005...
After what seems like an eternity, we can exclusively reveal that the New Year will finally see the introduction of our brand new Mongo Bongo website. As the night continues to grow and as the demand for residents Anil Chawla & Marcel Kane continues to snowball, we thought it was about time to give you a proper website to be proud of!! The new site will feature all the latest news and information on forthcoming events, dedicated DJ pages, downloadable mixes and wallpapers, photo galleries and a unique Mongo Bongo Forum, where you can discuss just
about anything that takes your fancy!!

See you on a dancefloor soon,
Love & Best wishes Stix, Kelly & all at Mongo Bongo HQ
