is a special imprint designed to be a facility for Defected
to work with and develop different styles of artists,
both new and established, away from the main label.
The sound will be predominantly soulful and vocal but
may venture into deeper grooves. Further good news is
that this will provide us with the facility to release
selected tracks from our albums. The first release on
this label will be the mighty MAW I can't get no sleep
copyright re:edit which will be available from April
26th.

am a producer of the U-was group, I finish the realization
of the first album and seeks to make them turn. U-WAS
is made up Colombian and French artists with original
songs Latin inspiration (cumbia, afro-Colombian, tango…)
on grooves electro. It is made up a superb Colombian
voice Liliana Montès, acoustic guitarist, Santi Zulu,
accustomed to the work of fusion (Latin jazz and pop
electro Latin) and Jimmy H, D.J. French having lived
several years in Bogota (trip-hop, break beat, Latin
groove electro) with a work of fusion electro and acoustic.
Herewith a demo (3mn and MP3 and Real video) that you
will be able to listen to, knowing that the site of-U-WAS
is in construction in English and Spanish as soon as

alongside vintage house music tracks and the latest
sought after white labels. He should prove to be a

Angel Moreas. Angel is taking time out from his
own club, aptly named 'Stereo' in Montreal, Canada,
