Since
starting out 1 year ago Purfect Electro has grown from
strength to strength, showcasing the most talented djs
the uk can offer. Will Bailey, Tommy Four Seven and
Dj Alekisj were our entertainers
for this episode of Purfect Electro and what an episode
it proved to be…..
We arrived at around 11.30 with no problems at the doors
of Mission, already it was proving to look like the
place to listen to some pounding electro music, the
layout was purfect being built into an old railway archway
made the sound system rock. As I entered the main room
I was greeted with filthy electro house, it wasn't the
type of house you would normally hear so early and I
would admit that it wasn't for the faint hearted, however
this was only the beginning, everybody was waiting to
hear the sound Will Bailey
was going to serve to the dancefloor…
 |
In the second room we were given an escape, showing
off the 20 year old prodigy Tommy Four Seven, playing
his usual seamlessly blended tech/minimal house. The
two rooms reminded me of chambers offering great acoustics.
There was a great mezzanine chillout area to the rear
of the club offering the tired clubbers a retreat, we
didn't hang around there for long however as the clock
was nearing Will Baileys set,
back to the main room.
My converse were nearly splitting at the seams and my
tee-shirt was sticking to me, the whole club seemed
to be rocking back and forth with the clubbers, driving
basslines, weird noises and strange vocals were every
where, brainwashing the clubbers into a sort of tribal
dance…..F**king awesome.
I never experienced and atmosphere like it anywhere.
 |
Its comforting to know that you can travel 200 miles
from your home town and still feel at home, although
it would have nice to have seen more of the female species
especially at such an elegant club, but bearing in mind
I was in no real state for that sort of banter, my best
chat up line being 'erm, do you come here often?' to
which I received very confused faces or maybe that was
me?????????
The night was flawless, the club immaculate and the
music was sexy, nasty and filthy…. Just how we like
it , Purfect Electro was purfect , I will most definately
see you on the dancefloor with the next helping of grot
on the April 20th @ Mission, Leeds, Purfect Electro
