  THE CROSS MUZIK X-PRESS 2nd OCTOBER 2004
Club Guide   |   Bar Guide  |  Global Events

X-Press 2's night Muzik X-Press returns to the Cross on 2nd October for the fifth in their series parties at the Cross. At the last party Ibiza's Alfredo and Jay Hannan rocked the middle arch and the party carried on for those who made it to the after party/rave in the woods on Union Canal! With the ethos on a good time at all costs X-Press 2 have been putting on parties since acid house's inception in the late 80's to present day. With key releases on Boy's Own that helped shape the UK's music and a friendship that has cemented Ashley Beedle, Rocky and Diesel together on six decks and three mixers, their tech infused, tribal laden soul drenched sound is renowned around the world. This month they are welcoming back to the Cross disco maestro Joey Negro to the decks. The man of many alias's including Hed Boys, Doug Willis, Raven Maize and now Jakatta, Joey boasts one of the most accomplished recording careers in the business.

With a slick remixing style and the creativity to reinvent himself musically Joey has been a cornerstone in dance music. Joey sets range from disco funk laden house to upfront party music delivered with the style that Joey embodies. Providing support will be Kiss 100's Steve Smart with and a special guest that is to be announced soon! Check out Backmarket and Plastic Fantastic delivering up-tempo flava's in the third arch!
