MINISTRY OF SOUND LAUNCHES GLOBAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN ’DONATE TO DANCE’

MINISTRY OF SOUND ’DONATE TO DANCE’ ANNOUNCES DJ LINE UP

Ministry of Sound Live - Donate to Dance’, the 230 hour non-stop radio show via its online radio station
in aid of Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, has concluded its initial list of content.

Across a series of club nights and an extensive studio schedule Ministry of Sound has enticed a long list of the worlds most popular DJ’s into the studio and on to the decks. Every dance music genre will be included from trance, hard dance, progressive, house, drum & bass, brokenbeat and breakbeat to R&B, hip hop, garage, classics and chill out. Making no room for excuses to not tune in and especially not to donate!

Joining in the fundraising fun will be drum & bass die hard Bryan Gee alongside a house collective to include Saturday Sessions residents Marc Hughes, Mark Knight & Nick Bridges plus Seamus Haji, Jazzy M and Paul Farris. The trance element will be directed by Above & Beyond, Christopher Lawrence, Darren Tate, Guy Ornadel, John OO Fleming, and Sander Van Dorrn whilst Nukleuz Records, BK & Ed Real proffer hard dance and breakbeat meets Meat Katie. Ministry of Sound is also ecstatic to welcome the talents of the Mixmag, DJ & iDJ teams who’ll be hosting their very own dedicated radio shows.

Club events that will be broadcast include two weekends of Ministry of Sound’s regular Smoove & Saturday Sessions with additional nights to include the Miami Winter Conference event and an exclusive event in Taipei Ministry of Sound.

And if this is not enough to attract the dance music loving constituency, Ministry of Sound is currently
in the process of confirming even more leading music purveyors as well as an outstanding list of
competition prizes and auction items, one of which includes Saturday Sessions resident Mark Knight’s
entire vinyl collection.

Mark Knight commented ‘It feels great to be in a position where I can help others improve their lives. Raising money and awareness for this charity is so important and with Ministry of Sound at the forefront it is guaranteed to be a success. I will do everything I possibly can to help out. I’ve even offered my entire vinyl collection, which I am sure will go to the right home for the right price.’

With only 5 weeks to go until D Day, things are really beginning to take shape. Ministry of Sound would like to thank all involved so far, for those taking part and those who’ve offered invaluable support. This event has to be big and the funds raised even bigger. More exciting news and line up details coming very soon.
