YOUTH
CLUB@REDSTAR
5th
BIRTHDAY SATURDAY 2nd OCTOBER WITH...
SPECIAL GUEST... PAT SHARP....Whoo whoo!!!!
|

YOUTH KLUB - the longest running South East London,
Saturday night institution in Camberwell has been filling
THE REDSTAR to the rafters for 5 years now and who better
to celebrate their momentous anniversary of pop antics
with, than iconic radio legend PAT SHARP!!!
So we all know that back in the day PAT sported the
famous mullet and stonewashed jeans
but have you seen him lately? These days Pat is at the
sharp end of fashion....
sporting a new look and to prove to us that youth is
still in his heart he has agreed
to become YOUTH KLUB's first ever DJ guest on SATURDAY
2nd OCTOBER
PAT, who's mid morning Heart FM show soundtracks cafes
and factories London wide will be manning the decks
and tearing up the dancefloor prompting dangerous head
rushes of nostalgia for all present, reminicising over
the days of his Help A London Child hits from the late
80s like "Let's All Chant" and "I Haven't Stopped Dancing
Yet".
PAT has become everyone's favourite from his first radio
show on Radio1 and subsequently Capital Radio (which
earned him a gold Sony in 92 for "Best DJ") to presenting
the hugely popular CITV TV show "Fun House" for 12 years.
Most recently PAT took part in "The Games 2004" shown
daily on Channel 4 & E4 showing that he is a good sport
and proving
the longevity of his celebrity.

The kids at YOUTH KLUB can't get
enough of DJ Joe Egg and Nervous Stephen's wild mix
of pop, rock and disco from the past and present so
they will both be on hand to ensure they keep dancing,
spinning anything from Donna Summer, Lionel Richie,
Betty Boo, T Rex, Blondie and Guns n Roses to Rachel
Stevens, Jet, Jamelia, The Strokes and Franz Ferdinand
until the wee hours of the morning. The magical mix
of music is matched only by the equally curious mix
of punters - denim skirted pop princesses dance next
to lank haired students and grungers, watched by ice
cool electro clash fashionistas waiting for the Scissor
Sisters to come on.
