After
a very successful year in the multi-roomed
Nicol Edwards in Niddry St which had seen
the club grow from strength to strength,
Out of Sight is moving to the Honeycomb
on Saturday May 22nd for its 1st birthday
celebration. Expect to hear funky and classic
house, hip-hop and funk classics. Keeping
the eclectic feel that has made the club
so successful Out of Sight are
bringing in the following guests:
ChristoZ
Direct from Athens,
and fresh from a storming appearance at
this years WMC in Miami, Christo Z
is one of Greece’s hottest exports with
a deep and smooth style akin to DJ Deep
and Gregory. Christo’s residencies include
Athens’ hottest club Plus Soda and Vibe
Bar and he can boast a
string of nights across the Med from Rhodes
to Mykonos, making appearances as far afield
as Los Angeles and Brixton. In the past
couple of years he has played alongside
the cream of the world’s DJ’s including
Louie Vega, Gregory, Angel Moraes, Eric
Morillo, Ashley Beedle, Tony Humphries,
Deep Dish, Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman,
Danny Howells, Sander Kleinberg, Anthony
Pappa, Danny Tenaglia & Nick Warren to name
but a few.
Deadly Avenger

Perhaps best
know for his long-standing residency at
Fabric and his awesome FABRIC LIVE 04 mix
album which was described by Jockey Slut
as 'the party mix of the summer'. Deadly
Avenger’s incomparable DJing style combines
block party hip hop, new Illicit tracks
and rare groove classics. Thinking in widescreen
like David Arnold, David Holmes and Craig
Armstrong, Deadly Avenger’s debut album
"Deep Red" is the culmination of a lifelong
passion for films and the music
that brings them to life and has also received
a string of rave reviews.
Tokyoblu
Due to the huge popularity of their
club local boys Tokyoblu are soon to re-launch
their hugely successful night across 2 floors
of the Venue in July with a full supporting
band and live show. In the meantime they
will be gracing the decks at Out Of Sight
with their usual raucous party starting
style. With big things afoot in 2004 including
single and album releases and numerous trips
abroad, Tokyoblu are flying the flag for
the Edinburgh dance scene. After this event
hey fly out to the Ukraine for a weeks tour
before returning to support Roger Sanchez
in Edinburgh.
