BAR FIRE starts at The Retreat on Friday
16th July for a night of hip-hop, broken
beat, reggae
and a touch of drum and bass. Think gangsta
soundtracks mixed with southern country
twang as the 3 Bar Fire crew warm you up
like a Vick's vaporub.
Add some very special guests each night
and well, it's gonna be non-stop-honky-tonk.

Man (Tru Thoughts) and special guests
Gareth Watkins
(Neighbourhood)
and Jez Nabarro
(Phonica).
The Retreat is a loungey, ex-strip joint
along Angel's infamous Upper Street. The
sleazy
red velvet and crystal chandeliers take
you back to a late 60's illegal drinking
establishment somewhere in Soho. Recently
re-opened under new management, The Retreat
offers
something a little bit different from the
franchise style bars that saturate the area.
