 SECRET HOUSE Sept 3rd 2004
Club Guide   |   Bar Guide  |  Global Events

We all have seen a tremendous increase in so called “party organisers” on the coast the last few years. However, noticing the lack of good music in combination with the right audience and a distinctive, special venue (so not the regular discotheques or clubs) has stimulated the creation of Secret House.
“Always something special” is our aim.

Secret House consists of two House music lovers from the early days. Yes, from the days of the Crazy Warehouse Parties. From the days that House music was just one type of music and not, like now,
sub divided in 20 genres like Goa-Trance, Garage, Techno, Euro-grooves, and so on.

Secret House consists of Richard (33) and Egbert (29) in the “scene” since 1988, the early days. Both Dutch and having been spoiled with the best the Amsterdam and International music scene has to offer we have been living since the late 90’s on the Costa. Both with a background as party organisers
we have recently joined forces to combine our creativity.

What differentiates Secret House from the rest is that we do not only have a passion for the good music (which can be different styles) but also want to attract the right audience. The right audience for us means everything out of the ordinary as long as it is peaceful people appreciating the music and not just kicking in some tablets and going like a mad cow. It also means creative, open minded people that are socially engaged and understand that a good party is partly made by themselves and not just
by the DJ’s and other “external factors” (that we take care of).

The parties we organise are exceptional in every sense. We do not only want to stimulate your ears and your eyes but above all your imagination, inner soul and creativeness. This means that the parties will be held at “unusual venues” with “unusual acts and surprises” so you will not encounter the usual go-go dancers and percussionist. In our opinion you are the go-go dancer and the music should be that great that a percussionist is not needed. We stimulate a relaxed and open ambience but this definitely does
not mean that we stop at 130 Beats per Minute. It that sense raising the roof is what we all want.

Thank you for visiting our website that is still under construction. In the coming months a lot more is to come and we therefore ask you to send us your email address so we can update you about our next events. Without you there is no party so we also appreciate any suggestions or comments
that will be sincerely considered and dealt with.

And remember: “Always Something Special”.
Richard & Egbert
